Don’t confuse salvation by grace for a life without accountability. Scripture teaches that every believer will stand before Christ and give an account of how they lived, what they did, and what they did with what God entrusted to them.
“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.”
~ 2 Corinthians 5:10
It's the sober judgment of your works and faithfulness before Christ. Romans 14:10–12 tells us that we will give an account of ourselves to God.
Do not live unconcerned. Do not assume that because you are saved. YOUR WORKS WILL BE JUDGED BY FIRE. The day is coming when every believer will stand before Christ, and what we have done with our time here will be tested.
Paul warns believers: “Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work.” ~ 1 Corinthians 3:13 Our rewards or loss are eternal.
Jesus reminds: “For the Son of Man is going to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay each person according to what he has done.”
~ Matthew 16:27
Our lives are being recorded in eternity. Our choices, obedience, stewardship, love, sacrifices, and faithfulness are not meaningless. Galatians 6:7–9 reminds us that we reap what we sow.
The time to live faithfully is now. We are not promised tomorrow. What we do with this life has eternal consequences.
Examine your life. Walk in obedience. Serve Christ faithfully. Pursue holiness. Love others. Do everything for His glory. DON’T JUST CLAIM YOU HAVE FAITH, LIVE IT.
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus FOR GOOD WORKS, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” ~ Ephesians 2:10 ✝️🧡💪
